Jeff Thompson, a Certified Expert Penetration Tester with the BCCS Technical Safeguards Unit, will deliver a presentation on security awareness for web developers. You will learn to view your web sites, databases, and applications from a hacker’s perspective which will enable you to better secure your environment. You will see several demonstrations of vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, client side scripting, and cross site scripting with an emphasis on secure coding. This presentation is open to state employees who are responsible for web/database administration and application development and security.
